- To unlock the Dark Magic Cup, you must first beat the Neos Cup
- Duel alongside Yusei, Jaden and a secret character to be revealed and obtain amazing rewards such as Starlight Road and Chaos Goddess!
- Obtain Friendship Letters by dueling in Duel World and up to 3 times a day by dueling in Ranked Duels.
- Save up your Lottery Coins and spend them at the Lottery to earn rewards. The higher your Duel Assessment score the more Lottery Coins you get.
- There is a chance that Challengers will appear after a Tag Duel, defeat them to earn more Lottery Coins. You don’t need Friendship Letters to duel against Challengers.
- Friendship Letters are not obtained from dueling Legendary Duelists at the gate and Vagrants.

Starlight Road is a powerful card with great future potential if Konami ever releases staple cards that can destroy more than 1 card, similar to Treacherous Trap Hole before it was semi-limited. Until then, its main use will be in a non-competitive deck trying to destroy 2 or more of its own cards to trigger it.
