Duelist Challenges - Full Solutions

- Complete all 5 challenges to obtain Magic Planter, Legendary Sword and 100 gems!
Solutions to challenges are listed here, but we encourage new players to try the challenges on their own as learning how cards interact together is crucial to improving as a duelist!
Challenge #1
- Activate Blast with Chain, targetting Hieratic Dragon of Nuit.
- Special summon Hieratic Seal of the Sun Dragon Overlord but Nuit’s effect.
- Activate Double Cyclone to destroy Blast with Chain and Mirror Wall. Destroy one Luster Dragon by the effect of Blast with Chain.
- Activate Order to Charge, tribute Sun Dragon Overlord to destroy the second Luster Dragon.
- Attack directly for victory!
Challenge #2
- Normal summon Aquaactress Guppy, activate its effect to special summon Aquaactress Arowana.
- Activate Aquarium Set. Then activate Parallel Twister, sending Aquarium Set to the graveyard to destroy Guppy.
- Activate the effect of Aquarium Set in your graveyard to special summon Guppy.
- Activate Arowana’s effect to add Aquaactress Tetra to hand.
- Activate Guppy’s effect to special summon Tetra.
- Activate Tetra’s effect to add Aquarium Lighting to hand.
- Activate Lighting, then attack the three Space Mambo with your monsters for victory!

Challenge #3
- Activate Fire King Island and activate its first effect to destroy Yubel.
- Add Fire King Avatar Yaksha from the deck and you activate Yubel’s effect to special summon Yubel - Terror Incarnate.
- Summon Yaksha then activate De-Spell to destroy Fire King Island.
- Activate Terror Incarnate’s effect to special summon Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare, and Yaksha’s effect to destroy Wild Tornado.
- Special summon Fire King Avatar Barong from your hand then activate Wild Tornado’s effect to destroy Elemental HERO Burstinatrix.
- Attack Elemental HERO Neos with The Ultimate Nightmare then attack directly with Barong for victory!
Challenge #4
- Normal summon Magical Exemplar.
- Set Silent Burning and activate Storm to destroy one of your opponent’s Drowning Mirror Force.
- Activate Yami then special summon The Tricky by discarding Lyla, Lightsworn Sorceress.
- Activate Silent Burning’s effect from the graveyard to add Silent Magician to hand.
- Activate Exemplar’s effect to special summon Lyla from the graveyard.
- Activate Lyla’s effect to destroy your opponents second Drowning Mirror Force.
- Special summon Silent Magician by tributing Lyla.
- Attack Silent Magician LV8 with Silent Magician then activate its effect to special summon Silent Magician LV8 from your deck.
- Attack Silent Magicain LV8 with your Silent Magician LV8 then attack directly with the The Tricky and Exemplar for victory.
Challenge #5
- Normal summon Mermail Abyssturge, activate its effect to discard Mermail Abysshilde and add Mermail Abyssgunde from the graveyard to your hand.
- Activate Abysshilde’s effect to special summon Mermail Abyssmegalo.
- Activate Abyssmegalo’s effect by tributing Mermail Abyssturge to gain a second attack during the battle phase.
- Activate Mermail Abyssbalaen’s effect to special summon itself by discarding the 4 cards left in your hand.
- Activate Abyssbalaen’s effect to target and destroy all your opponent’s cards then chain Abyssgunde’s effect to special summon Mermail Abyssleed from the graveyard.
- Attack directly for game!
