Review: Spellbound Silence
“Will the cards in this structure deck create a new top-tier deck?”
Machdragon says:
Maybe!
SelectMaple says:
Probably not create a new one, but possibility of there being a Spellbooks and Silent Magician hybrid.
Jason says:
Xanxus says:
Not really sure. I think a Silent Magician deck has potential, but with the new limited list the meta will change a bit, so we have to wait and see. If Spellbooks stays as a dominant deck, the chances for Silent Magician being a good deck will fall down.
skillShot says:
In my opinion, yes, I think it will be the way to play Spellbooks, especially after the skill update.
Kaki says:
No!
“Will the cards in this structure deck be used in another top-tier deck?”
Machdragon says:
Yes, Silent Magician will be a great addition to Spellbooks enabling once per turn spell negation as well as a potential 3500 ATK beater (Silent Magician LV8) when destroyed.
SelectMaple says:
Possibly Spellbooks.
Jason says:
Xanxus says:
Gold Sarcophagus has future potential.
skillShot says:
Yes, in Spellbooks.
Kaki says:
Silent Magician is insane for Spellbooks decks.
“How do you expect the cards in this structure deck to impact the meta overall?”
Machdragon says:
Gold Sarcophagus is a nice addition to boost the consistency of decks since Restart and Balance have been nerfed. Since it is able to grab any card from your deck in 2 turns.
SelectMaple says:
I don’t think it’ll heavily impact the meta, but will possibly create a new Spellbooks variant.
Jason says:
Small impact. Gold Sarcophagus might add slight consistency to Archfiends and new decks that revolve around Silent Magician.
Xanxus says:
No impact in competitive tournaments, only for King of Games runs Silent Magician can be a notable deck.
skillShot says:
If Silent Magician becomes the staple way to play Spellbooks I think Paleozoic Canadia will see more use, along with other cards that can play around Silent Magician and Silent Magician LV8’s effects.
Kaki says:
Something else I wanna say: I will skip this structure deck, it’s insane that Konami whats more money for a virtual structure deck than for one in TCG and it’s a shame that you cant but it with gems if you support this the game will be pay to win and that will kill Duel Links.
